Home of the Boneless Wing...
It all started on a wing and a prayer in the summer of '85 with a family sauce and a Fry Daddy cooker in a storefront opposite Dover, DE Air Force Base. The first store was designed to target homesick Buffalonians at the Air Force Base, but to the owner's surprise, the flavored wings became a huge hit with the local beach crowd. Responding to demand, Wings To Go began to open branches on Dewey Beach, DE and in Wilmington, DE. By the end of the third year, there were five locations dispensing five degrees of wings, from mild to the famous suicide version. Today, there is a sixth degree that can cause even the most brave to cry...HOMICIDE!!! Along with 17 other mouth-watering flavors. By 1989 franchising began and the rest, they say, is history. There are now over 70 locations in 15 states! |
